MugShot_Morrow,ShaneOn the morning of September 2, 2016 the Plymouth Police Department received a report regarding a burglary that had occurred overnight at CDS Mixers at 2525 Western Avenue. The scene was processed and evidence was collected, including blood that was left by the suspect. This blood evidence was sent to the Indiana State Police Laboratory for DNA analysis.

On May 4, 2017, Detective Leo Mangus was notified by the CODIS Unit of the Indiana State Police of a potential DNA match. The results of testing indicated that the blood left by the perpetrator belonged to Shane H. Morrow.  Detective Leo Mangus investigated further and located Shane Morrow in the Starke County Jail, where he was being held regarding a burglary in Starke County. Additional DNA standards were obtained from Shane Morrow and testing confirmed the DNA results.

An Arrest Warrant was issued for Shane Morrow on July 5, regarding the charges of Burglary and Theft with a cash bond of $25,000.00. Shane Morrow, 41 of Winamac is currently in the Starke County Jail awaiting extradition to Marshall County.
