first-fridays-south-bendSouth Bend, IN — Downtown South Bend Inc.’s (DTSB) January First Fridays celebrates “Winter Wonderland” this Friday, January 6th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Free entertainment, live demonstrations, food & drink specials, and other activities can be found throughout downtown South Bend within the 40 participating businesses.

 

Winter Wonderland will celebrate the excitements of winter downtown. There will be a Coffee and Cocoa Crawl in various locations throughout downtown, warm fireplaces to cozy up to at South Bend Chocolate Café or Fiddler’s Hearth and snowman building on the Gridiron (weather permitting).

 

For easy transportation, Transpo will be offering free shuttle rides throughout downtown. The shuttle will run at each stop every 15 minutes from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The shuttle rides will also include a free mini tour of downtown, as the Shuttle Tour Guide entertains riders with historical tidbits, fun facts, and info on First Friday activities and promotions.

Pigeon and the Hen Pottery (217 S. Michigan St.) Celebrating the owners’ birthday month, there will be cake samples, special discounts and a New Year’s Resolution Plate class
