potawatomipark_birdsIf you are looking for a great gift for the nature-lover in your family, bluebirds may be just the thing.   The second in Potawatomi Wildlife Park’s Wildlife Print series, Eastern Bluebird prints are still available from famous local artist and park board member Jeffrey Klinefelter. Proceeds benefit Potawatomi Wildlife Park.

Award-winning wildlife artist Jeff Klinefelter has created an astonishing gouache painting of a male and female Eastern Bluebird surrounded by white dogwood tree blossoms.

Klinefelter is a board member at the 300-acre nature park, which is near his childhood home and art studio in Etna Green. Though he has stayed close to home his whole life, he is known across the nation for his amazing depiction wildlife, especially birds.

His latest competition awards include the 2017 Delaware Trout Stamp (Brown Trout) and 2017 Ohio Wetland Habitat Stamp (American Wigeon). All told, Klinefelter has been chosen for 90 state wildlife, conservation or hunting and fishing stamps across the nation.

This particular print is an excellent example of a favorite bird among bird-lovers everywhere and is in tasteful colors that, framed, would go with any decor. The signed, limited-edition print is available at Potawatomi Wildlife Park. Call 574-498-6550 for arrangements to pick up.
