An investigation of suspected drug activity lead to the arrest of four people on Monday.
County Police Officers Jonathan Bryant and Joe Giordano initiated an investigation at the Sea Lane Apartments at Lake of the Woods Monday evening. During their investigation four people, 32 year old Richard Carter of Wanatah, 31 year old Eric Carter of Plymouth, 22 year old Chelsey Thomas of Bremen and 29 year old Whiteny Bope of Bremen were arrested for visiting / maintaining a common nuisance. Eric Carter was also wanted out of Starke County. Three children were removed from the home.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
