Fatal_US6_Bremen_1-19-16_2Marshall County Police released more details on the fatal semi crash on U.S. 6 Tuesday morning.

At 9:32 a.m. the County Dispatch Center received a call about a crash involving two semis on U.S. 6 near Kenilworth Road.

The initial investigation by Officer Jordan Rans indicated that the driver of east bound semi, 56 year old Gary Hadnott of Indianapolis went left of the center line for an unknown reason and sideswiped a 2006 Mack Semi  driven by 36 year old David Dent of Crete, IL.

Dent was transported to Bremen Community Hospital for minor injuries, lacerations to his face.

Both directions of U.S. 6 were closed for several hours for the investigation and clean up following the crash.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Indiana State Police, Bremen Police, LaPaz and Bremen Fire and EMS, IDEM, INDOT and Reichert and Knepp Wrecker Service.
