arrestsPlymouth Police made a number of arrests over the long holiday weekend.

On Saturday, September 5th 40 year old Juan J. Trochez of Plymouth was arrested for Operator Never Licensed following a traffic stop.

Plymouth Officer Stuart Krynock conducted a traffic stop at Plum and Madison Streets because the registered owner of the vehicle has a suspended driver’s license.

The driver of the vehicle identified himself at Juan Elias and admitted to never obtaining a driver’s license.    After transporting the suspect to the Marshall County Jail he was identified by his fingerprints as Juan Trochez.

About 7:30 Saturday evening Plymouth Police were dispatched to Miller’s Merry Manor in reference to an individual suspected of being intoxicated and insisting on driving.   54 year old Judith L. Keller of Plymouth   submitted to a field sobriety test and was then transported to the Plymouth Hospital for a chemical test.  Following the test Keller was lodged in the County Jail for OWI and held on a $1,505 cash bond.

Sunday morning about 3:15 Officer Wally Derifield conducted a traffic stop on Gibson Street and arrested 39 year old Clint Town of Plymouth for DUI.

Monday morning about 3:15 Plymouth Officer Chris Miller conducted a traffic stop at State Road 17 and Deer Trail.  After a short investigation 33 year old Ryan Martin Charleston of Indianapolis was arrested for Driving While Suspended with a Prior charge and OWI of .08 or above.  Charleston was booked into the County Jail.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
