Donald G. Morrison, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 6, 2024 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.

Born on August 30, 1939, in LaPorte, Indiana, he was the son of Lawrence and Phyllis (Barney) Morrison.

He attended Culver High School, graduating with the class of 1957.  Donald met the love of his life Eileen Ames at Rural Youth and on June 22, 1963, Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren in Bourbon, they shared 60 years of wonderful marriage and memories together.

He would work for Weirs Truck Service, Weidner Accounting and B & G Trucking before retiring in 2018.

A dapper man who was always put together. Donald loved being around people and enjoyed trying to put a smile on their face. He will be endearingly known as the Usher at the Plymouth Church of the Brethren that handed out life saver mints for 40 years and for his homemade ice cream. Donald had a very strong work ethic and a true servant’s heart. From serving as the Treasurer of the Blueberry Festival, County Councilman, Miss Indiana Pageant, Miss Blueberry, Plymouth Lions, Marshall County 4-H and a member of the Elks.

Donald enjoyed playing cards, putting puzzles together and playing board games with family and friends. Of everything that Donald accomplished in life, his family was his greatest, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Eileen; son Kevin (Anita) Morrison; daughter Kristina (David) Pentelow; grandchildren: Andrew, Ella and Carleah Morrison; Kassidy and Samantha Pentelow; siblings: Lawrence Morrison and Jean Colby.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, brother Roy Morrison and Nancy Kersey.
