Plymouth Police Chief John Weir released additional information on the vehicle that crashed into the car wash building Tuesday morning.

Emergency responders were dispatched to 2140 North Oak Drive, SuperWash on May 21st at 11:10 when a van drove through the north wall of the car wash. 

Emergency responders from the Plymouth Fire Department removed the female driver who was pinned in the vehicle. The driver was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital for the injuries suffered from the collision. 

The 89-year-old woman from Marshall County told police the gas pedal stuck. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
