Knox senior recognizes Plymouth Airport Manager as Most Influential Teacher

Wednesday evening Bill Sheley, Plymouth Municipal Airport Manager attended the annual dinner for Top 10 Students at Knox High School. 

This dinner honors the top 10 students in this year’s Knox High School graduating class. The students invite their most influential teacher and are required to give a short speech about the influence the teacher has had on them.  Charlotte Salyers selected Bill Sheley as her most influential teacher.   

Sheley told WTCA, “Charlotte is an excellent student and is one of our second year aviation students in the CTE program and will be attending Western Michigan University this fall majoring in Aviation Maintenance Technology.”

Sheley went on to say, “I can’t begin to describe what an honor it is for me to be chosen by students for these banquets.  It is very gratifying to know that I am making a positive influence on these young adults lives.”
