The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana keeps Marshall County under a Flood Watch.  Communities included in the watch are Bremen, Plymouth, and Culver.

The Flood Watch remains in effect from 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday morning,

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be possible. 1.5 to 2.25 inches of rain is likely with locally higher amounts.  Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

Marshall County citizens should monitor forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
