Gidien Reid Frank passed away on March 22, 2024 after fighting symptoms of his disease for more than 5 years. He was diagnosed with Mucolipidosis Type II when he was 3 months old. This horrible genetic disorder may have caused his life to be short but each day was filled with love, joy, and hope. Gidien enjoyed every day to its fullest and let everyone around him know how much he loved them. He never knew a stranger and greeted everyone with a “hi” and a “buh-bye”. His favorite activity was going on walks or as he would say, “A Wah”. He loved listening to music, clapping and nodding along to the beat. He loved being with people, laughing along and telling his own stories. He especially loved playing with his big sister, “Bubba”. Gidien has taught us all to love each other more, enjoy each day to its fullest, and have hope in our future. We will forever be grateful that we got to spend a little bit of time with him on this earth, and we are looking forward to the day he says “hi” to us once more!

He is survived by his Parents Hilary (Neidig) and Justin Frank of Plymouth, IN, sister Eleanor Frank of Plymouth, IN, Grandparents Robin (Harreld) and Gary Neidig of Plymouth, IN, Sherry (Stikeleather) and Albert Frank of Charlotte, NC, Great-grandmother Darlene (Balog) Harreld of Griffith, IN, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 12-1 pm at Crossroads Church, 1650 N. Oak Drive, Plymouth, IN 46563. Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Scott Yoder officiating.
