Margie Hite, 67, of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Ernestine M. Raclin House of Mishawaka, IN, after battling a prolonged illness.  Her battle with serious health issues showed her courage and strength, staying strong to the end.

Margie was born to Thomas J. and Ruby (Armentrout) Berndt, Sr. on July 8, 1956 in Knox, IN. She married Ray Hite on December 1, 1973. She did factory work and was a cook at Ancilla College until her retirement. She enjoyed using computers, marble games, taking vacations, and spending time with her family.

Margie is survived by her husband, Ray Hite; her daughter, Missy (Brent) Cramer of Goshen, IN; her sister, Loretta Burger of South Bend, IN; her grandchildren: Cassie Cramer; Sara Cramer; Blake Cramer; Trenton Hite; Ethan Hite; Megan Hite; her step-grandchildren: Michael (Baylee) Schlemmer; Tierra Shidlerr; and her 5 great-grandchildren.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Thomas Berndt, Sr.; her son, Billy Ray Hite; her sisters: Connie Simon; Judy Younkin; her brothers: Thomas Berndt, Jr.; Paul Berndt; and Lucky Berndt.

No services are planned at this time.
