PLYMOUTH – Regina (Genie) L. Dipert, 76, a lifetime Marshall County resident, passed away on March 8, 2024 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth, Indiana.
Genie was born to the late Paul and Beaulah Beyler Sherk Dipert. Preceded in death were her siblings she loved so much, Roger Sherk, Becky Dipert and Doug Dipert. She is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and very close friends along with one uncle, Carl Coplen and one aunt, Ruth Ann Anders.
Genie loved her church and church family. She especially loved any program the children performed. She was involved as much as her health permitted.
She was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. She hardly missed a game. She couldn’t wait for spring training to begin each year. Her love of football and the Chicago Bears also made her happy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 10-11AM at the Church of the Brethren, 1130 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Memorial services will immediately follow at 11AM with Pastor Deb Cook and Pastor Ruth Yoder officiating.
Burial will take place at Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Genie can be made to Church of the Brethren, 1130 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563.
