On Tuesday morning of March 5th, at approximately 5:15 a.m., Officer Schieber with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the corner of Harrison and Center Streets after observing the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Michigan Street.
During the traffic stop the driver, Barcenas Ma Del Rosario, 47, of Berwyn, Illinois, was found to have never been issued a driver’s license.
Ma Del Rosario was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail for operator never licensed.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
