Plymouth police officers arrested two more individuals from Plymouth who were driving with licenses.

On Thursday morning, February 29th, at approximately 3:40, Officer Schiever initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment and moving violation at Pierce and Walnut Streets. 

During the traffic stop the driver, Jose D. Gonzalez-Aguilar, 48, of  Plymouth, was found to had never been issued a driver’s license, and with a prior conviction.  Gonzalez-Aguilar was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail for operator never licensed-prior.

Thursday morning at about 1, Officer Witkowski initiated a traffic stop on a maroon Toyota Highlander for an obstructed view of the registration.

The driver, Jose Lopez Alberto Jacob, 33, of Jackson Street was found to be operating the vehicle without ever having obtained a driver’s license. He was arrested, transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for operating without ever receiving a license. His cash bond was paid at 5:40 Thursday afternoon and he was released on bond.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
