The REES Theatre in downtown Plymouth will be a happening place this weekend with events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Friday is the first annual Community Talent Show, which is a fundraiser for renovations to Stewie’s Hideaway on the third floor.

Friday evening, Brooklyn Charmers a Steely Dan tribute band comprised of some of Chicago’s top players takes the stage. Brooklyn Charmers injects a new energy into the beloved catalog, bridging the gap between new and lifelong fans alike.

Steely Dan’s blend of rock and jazz, along with their prolific and consistent output throughout the 1970’s cemented them as classic rock royalty. Brooklyn Charmers are excited to carry the torch into the new generation.

General admission tickets are $25 and balcony seating is $50.

Closing out the weekend is the Sunday matinee at2.  In this 1980s sci-fi classic, small-town California teen Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is thrown back into the ’50s when an experiment by eccentric scientist Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes away.

Traveling through time in a modified DeLorean car, Marty encounters young versions of his parents and must make sure that they fall in love, or he’ll cease to exist.

Tickets are $5 for adults; kids 12 and younger are free with an accompanying adult.
