Mignon Crawford of Plymouth IN passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024 at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth IN. She is preceded in death by her husband Terry Crawford, her parents Fay and Marsonne Bolser, her sister Mona Swearingen, her brothers Clark D. Bolser and Phil Bolser, as well as her granddaughter Shannon Crawford great grandson Jacob.
Mignon was born April 30, 1935 to Fay and Marsonne Bolser in Danville, IL. She was the third child of 5. On July 2, 1955, Mignon married Terry Crawford, Together, they had 3 sons. In 1968, Mignon moved with her family to Plymouth, IN, where she would reside for the rest of her life. In Plymouth, she made great friendships with a number of other women. She was a devoted homemaker, taking care of her 3 sons and, later, her grandchildren (who affectionately referred to her as “mawmaW’). She was an avid sports fan, cheering on the 1990’s Chicago Bulls (and even getting to attend a one of their playoff games), Purdue sports, and, the Chicago Cubs. A highlight of her life was seeing the Cubs win the 2016 World Series. Mignon was often present at youth sporting events, cheering on her sons and grandchildren.
Mignon is survived by her brother Don Bolser, her three sons Mark (Sallie), Mike (Julie), and Steve (Connie), as well as 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Mignon leaves a legacy of loving hard, having fun, and a tad bit of stubbornness for good measure.
The family will have a private graveside service for Mignon.
