This Friday night, February 23, it’s Date Night at The REES.  Those 18 and older can watch “Pretty Woman”.   The classic rom-com starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts shows at 7:30.

Corporate raider Edward Lewis (Gere) hires call girl Vivian Ward (Roberts) to stay with him while on a business trip. As the two get closer, they discover there are significant hurdles to overcome as they try to bridge the gap between their very different worlds.

The movie is also another reason to hate Jason Alexander. The R-rated movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are just $5.

On Sunday, Feb. 25, 2 p.m. the Family Movie Matinee at The REES is “Jurassic Park.” Huge advancements in genetics have enabled mogul John Hammond to create an island full of living dinosaurs. He invites two paleontologists and an expert in chaos theory, along with his two grandchildren, to join him at Jurassic Park to tour his impressive facility. But remember, “life will find a way.”

Rated PG. Tickets are $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are free with an accompanying adult.

Tickets are available online at reestheatre.com, at Fernbaugh’s Jewelry at 206 North Michigan Street, and at the door 45 minutes before the shows.
