Over the weekend, Lincoln Jr High’s Chase Holderread made waves at the ISSMA State Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis.

His outstanding musical talent earned him a remarkable Gold with Distinction rating, with a near-perfect score.

Lincoln Junior High Choir teacher Brandi Brennan told WTCA, “I’m extremely proud of Chase and his performance this past weekend.  Chase has an excellent attitude and shows dedication and work ethic beyond his years.  This past weekend proves that his ability and work are acknowledged, not only by PCSC, but by professionals around the state.  As Chase finishes his 8th-grade year, we can’t wait to see him perform one last time at Lincoln Jr High in the Spring Production of “Shrek, Jr”, May 15-17.”
