Members of the Marshall County Election Board members will conduct public hearings on Friday, February 16 for five candidates who were late in filing their campaign finance reports.

The State of Indiana requires all candidate committees, legislative caucus committees, and political action committees to file their annual campaign finance reports for 2023 by noon on Wednesday, January 17th.   

Five candidates did not file their annual reports by the deadline.   The Marshall County Election Board will conduct public hearings with the consideration of penalties this Friday, February 16 at 8:30 a.m. in the County Clerk’s Office on the first floor of the courthouse.   

The current penalty is $50 a day.  Candidates who filed their reports late include The Friends of Culver, Dana Neer, Brandon Richie, Gary Schue, and Nichole Walter.
