Plymouth Police were dispatched to the 900 block of West Harrison Street Saturday, February 10th at about 10 minutes till 3 in the morning for a fight between two males.

When city officers arrived in the area, they were flagged down and advised that two males had been fighting and were intoxicated.

Officer Fisher determined that 31-year-old Cain Rodriguez Lopez of Plymouth was the one that started the fight.  He was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for battery. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.  They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgement of guilt may be made.
