At 3:53 a.m. on February 8, 2024, Margaret “Kelly” E. Renforth celebrated her birthday into eternity as she was welcomed home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after a long, heart-breaking period of physical and mental decline inflicted on her by dementia.

Margaret “Kelly” Renforth, 86, was born on February 7, 1938, in Elkins, West Virginia, the daughter of Herbert and Anna Grace (Biller) Streets. She was one of twelve children. Through her eldest brother Kenny, she met the love of her life, Orville “Jim” Renforth, whom she married on April 27, 1965. They celebrated 54 years of marriage before his passing on January 31, 2020.

Kelly had a joyous spirit and a deep love of family that was unparalleled. She was the most caring, sweetest, kind, loving, and selfless daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and soon would have been a great-great-grandmother. She will be forever deeply loved and missed.

Kelly and her two sisters raised her siblings after the devastating loss of her parents in a short period of time, while raising her eldest daughter, Donna. Kelly had a natural instinct with kids. Her family meant the world to her. She adored her kids and grandchildren. Kelly had a love and ease of cooking. She was a fantastic cook at many restaurants, including Culver Academy and Schoop’s of Plymouth, IN. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church of Plymouth, IN.

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Anna Grace; her husband, Jim Renforth; five brothers: Kenny; Bob; Ted; Randal; and Ralph; and two sisters: Sommie Kruder and Mona Akers.

Kelly is survived by her daughter, Donna (Miklas) Veger and their children: Gary (Amanda) Smith; Matthew (Melissa) Smith; Jason (Mallory) Smith; her son, Shawn (Jennifer) Renforth and their children: Gracee; Evan; Cannon; Giavonna; Jordan; and Matias; her daughter, Kristi (Brian) Marr and their children: Seth Marr; Caden (Karen) Marr; and Coltan Marr. Kelly is also survived by two brothers: Calvin and Delbert Streets; two sisters: Diane Riccardi; and Norma Streets; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson on the way.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).

A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.

The burial will take place in Burr Oak Cemetery (Culver, IN).
