Donald R. Hobbs, 77, of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
Donald was born to Leverett and Ellen (Padgett) Hobbs on June 11, 1946 in Anderson, IN. He graduated from Madison Heights High School. He married Patty Siddall on October 2, 1982. He was a member of New Song Church and Sons of the Legion of Plymouth, IN. He worked for Amoco Gas Station, Standard Plumbing and Heating and others in the area. He enjoyed motorcycles, old cars, and was a racing fan. Don never met a “stranger” and was always there to lend a hand.
Donald is survived by his wife, Patty Hobbs of Plymouth, IN; his daughter, Shannon Stoops of Greenfield, IN; his son, Garet (Ann Marie) Hobbs of Knightstown, IN; his 8 grandchildren; and his 10 great-grandchildren; plus several nephews and nieces and close friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his son-in-law, Tracy Stoops; and his brother, Marion “Lee” Hobbs.
Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time.
