Phyllis J. Winrotte, 86, of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 in Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home of Culver, IN.
Phyllis was born on December 7, 1937 to Demer and Goldie (Jones) Hardesty in Tyner, IN. She married Duane Winrotte on January 1, 1978 and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1990. She as a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary of Plymouth, IN. She worked at Hehr International of Plymouth doing window manufacturing. She enjoyed playing euchre and going to the casinos.
Phyllis will be missed by her daughter, Pamela (Mark) Milliser of Plymouth, IN; her sons: Carl Haines of Plymouth, IN; Roger Haines (special friend, Joy Hornburger) of Kewanna, IN; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Marjorie Runkle; Geraldine Hardest; her brothers: Delmar Hardesty, Jr.; Gilbert Hardesty; Glenn Hardesty; Wayne Hardesty; Robert Hardesty; and John Hardesty.
In honoring her wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time.
