Plymouth Community School Corporation’s 6th – 8th grade choirs attended the Indiana State School Music Association District 3 Solo & Ensemble contest on Sat, January 27th. They earned 30 gold medals and 10 silver medals.
Choir Director Brandi Brennan said, “This year’s weather delays and cancellations brought new obstacles to our beginning choir students, many of whom this was their first year performing at contest. But, the students met the challenges head-on and had a great showing on Saturday! I could not be more proud of everything they accomplished.”
Highlights:
Chase Holderread(Lincoln Jr High) received a gold rating on his Group 1 Vocal Solo and will compete at the State level on February 17th.
Bailee Seeders (Riverside Intermediate) received a perfect score on her Group 5 Vocal Solo.
