Patricia Ann Albright, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at We Belong Senior Home, Plymouth.
Born on January 12, 1940 in Malvern, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of James E. and Lillian M. (McCardell) Dixon. A love story to be remembered. Patricia and Ronald ran away to elope despite their parents’ wishes. The state police were sent looking for them. However, on March 1, 1957 she married Ronald N. Albright, he retired from serving with the state police. They shared 60 years of wonderful marriage together. Ronald preceded her in death on April 1, 2017.
A beautiful soul can best describe Patricia. She was a woman that cared for her husband and children with every fiber in her being. Patricia was a conscientious woman that always made sure that her family absolutely looked their best going out in public. Her compassion and non-judgement towards others were something to be admired as she would help a child that may be down on their luck by offering a meal, a bath and a goodnights rest.
She enjoyed cooking and baking and was exceptionally good at it, especially when it came to the kids’ parties growing up. The cupcakes were not your average size as classroom peers were often envious how wonderful they were.
Patricia’s unconditional love towards everyone made an impact on many, especially to her family that she has left behind.
She is survived by her children: Veronica (Paul) Thomas of Plymouth; Shane (Penny) Albright of Plymouth; Bridget (Mark) Langkamp of Lakewood, CO; Jamie Albright of Plymouth; 12-grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Margaret “Peggy” Ellis and brother James Dixon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 11-1 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow with Fr. Keeton Lockwood Officiating.
Burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
