More Republican residents in Marshall County continue to file for various positions in the Republican Primary this May.

Brandon Schadek has filed on the Republican ticket for one of the At-Large seats on the County Council.  There are three At-Large seats open in this election.  Currently those seats are held by Jim Masterson, Tim Harman and Jesse Bohannon.  Tim Harman has already filed for re-election and Jesse Bohannon has filed for the County Commissioner seat in District 3.  Right now, the Republicans have three running for the 3 At-Large seats, Bill Githens, Tim Harman, and now Brandon Schadek. 

Several individuals have filed to be a Precinct Committeeman.  New filings include Tamera Borggren for West 3, William Cleavenger for Union 1, Sharon Dotta for Center 5, Brenda Harper for Center 3, Mechelle Longanecker for Center 4, James Masterson for Center 7, Jonathon Monhaut for German 1, Donald Nunemaker for Green, Brandon Schadek for West 1, Jeffry Snyder for Tippecanoe and Ruth VanVactor for Center 6. 

Debra Beck has filed to be a delegate in the Republican Convention this summer in Indianapolis.

Marvin (Joe) Layne has filed against Mike Bohacek for State Senator in District 8 and Ryan Mishler has filed for re-election for State Senate in District 9.
