Candidates continue to file for various county seats that are open along with convention delegates and precinct committeemen. 

The first day to file was Wednesday, January 10th.  It was a busy day with 17 individuals filing.  On Thursday only 2 filed but Friday was another busy day.  Several candidates filed for multiple seats. 

Adam Faulstich, a Republican members of the Marshall County Council filed for Marshall County Commissioners for District 2. 

Craig Cultice the current Republican Marshall County Surveyor filed his intentions to seek another four years as County Surveyor.

Tim Harman filed for one of the At-Large seats on the County Council, where he is currently a member.   

Adam Faulstich filed for Center 8 Republican Precinct Committeeman along with Tim Harman who filed for German 2 Precinct Committeemen and Jim Masterson who filed for Center 7 Precinct Committeeman. 

Other candidates filing on Friday include those wanting to attend the Republican State Convention this summer in Indianapolis.  Those filing for convention delegates were Kip Cook, Adam Faulstich and Tim Harman. 

Complimentary filings were done for Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) for State Representative for District 17 and Jack Teshka (R-North Liberty) for State Representative for District 7.  Mike Bohacek (R-Michigan Shores) filed for State Senator for District 8.    

Only one Democrat is currently listed as a candidate in Marshall County, Valerie McCray (D-Indianapolis) for U.S. Senator.
