Marshall County Reserve Officer Frick was working patrol on New Year’s Eve when he recognized a male, he knew to be suspended driving a vehicle. 

Around 2 p.m. he conducted a traffic stop at the LaPaz Speedway Gas Station on U.S. 6 after observing Kody Grantham, 33, driving. 

Kody Grantham was taken into custody. A baggie and straw with cocaine residue along with a prescription pill were found during a search.

Grantham was then transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was given a court date of January 16th and a bond amount of $1505.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
