Earlier this month the Plymouth Common Council approved the 2024 annual agreements for planning services and transportation services.

The city council approved a one-year agreement with Ralph Booker for planning services during 2024.

The agreement requires Booker to attend all Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals meetings along with Common Council meeting when presentations are required.  He will prepare presentations for monthly meetings and provide the boards with information for the requests presented along with advice and consultations.

The Planner will also aid and assist the city and its officials with planning and zoning matters and provide assistance to the City Engineering Department in keeping the city zoning map up to date.

The City of Plymouth will pay Booker monthly from the General Fund Building Commission Department $1,544.75 monthly or $18,537 annually.

The annual agreement with transportation services is between the city and the Marshall County Council on Aging/Older Adult Services.  The council provides public transportation to citizens for a nominal and subsidized fee.

In exchange for the transportation services, the City of Plymouth will pay the Council on Aging/Older Adult Services $10,000 annually.
