Officer Williams with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Plymouth man for driving without a license. 

Tuesday afternoon, December 15, at 4:20 Deputy Williams conducted a traffic stop on Harrison Street at Oak Drive. The driver was identified as Darwin I Paguada Almendares, 27, from Washington Street in Plymouth.  Paguada was found to have never been issued a driver’s license. 

Darwin I Paguada Almendares was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for operating without ever obtaining a license.  He was held on a $100 cash bond for less than 30 minutes and was released on bond. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
