The new Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at Marian University’s Ancilla College (MUAC) received a large gift to support the program’s launch.

The gift of $100,000 was received from an anonymous donor and will accelerate the launch of the nationally recognized Fred S. Klipsch Educators College at the MUAC campus. The Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education will be the second four-year degree offered at the MUAC campus, and university administrators have already started partnering with local school corporations to meet the educator needs of the community.

“We are extremely thankful to this donor who has made a significant investment, not only in MUAC but in the educational outlook in northern Indiana,” said Natalie Tucker, Ph.D., vice president and dean of Marian University’s Ancilla College. “With this support, we can immediately begin implementing the curriculum, providing scholarships to aspiring educators, and working with our local school corporations to get more students in classrooms.”
