A special holiday family night will be held at the REES, in downtown Plymouth this Friday evening at 7:30.

The second annual family pajama event will feature “The Star,” from Sony Pictures Animation. This PG-rated movie features a small but brave donkey named Bo who yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free and go on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a lovable sheep who has lost her flock, and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become accidental heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.

Families, especially children, are encouraged to wear their pajamas to the REES for the evening. Adult tickets are $5. Children 12-and-younger are free with an accompanying adult. The evening is sponsored by Heiden Creative.

Tickets are available online at reestheatre.com, at Fernbaugh’s Jewelry, 206 N. Michigan St., and at the door 45 minutes before the shows.
