Dan Alan Thompson, 69 of Plymouth, Indiana passed away on December 13, 2023, at 7:54 p.m. at his residence. On January 31, 1954, in Rochester, Indiana he was born to Dale V. Thompson & Lois A. (Pfeifer) Thompson. He was raised in the Argos community and lived a significant portion of his life in Plymouth.
On May 15, 2010, in Clarksdale, Mississippi he married Kathleen D. Smith and together they have shared together the past 13 years.
Dan worked for over 20 years at Graphix Unlimited in Bremen, Indiana as an Assistant Controller where he retired in 2019. Dan belonged to The Son’s of the American Legion, Post#27, Plymouth, He was a graduate of Argos High School class of 1972 and then moved to Louisiana and Tennessee and completed classes at Louisiana State University before returning to Marshall County. Dan enjoyed playing golf and played in numerous golf outings.

Grandson – Charles Alva Thompson
Sister – Kaye Louise Wallen of Warsaw, Indiana and Brother John Charles Thompson and wife Amy of Terre Haute, Indiana
Sister-in-Law’s – Pamela Thompson and Patricia Thompson
Stepsons – Marc Ousley (Ashley) of Avon, Indiana, Eric Ousley of McCordsville, Indiana, and Matthew Harrold (Leslie) of Argos, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers – Gregory Lee Thompson and R. Kirk Thompson, Brother-in-Law – Michael Wallen
Friends may visit with the family Thursday December 21, 2023, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana. Graveside Services will follow at 1:15 p.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos. A Celebration of Life will be hosted thereafter at the Argos American Legion Post#68, 120 N. 1st St., Argos, Indiana.
