Officer Fisher with the Plymouth Police Department arrested three individuals over the weekend for driving without receiving a license. 

On Saturday, December 9th at 7:21 in the evening Officer Fisher conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling north on Michigan Street near North Street with no headlights on. The driver was identified as 23-year-old Joel Ramoz-Gomez of Louisiana. The officer determined that Joel had never been issued a driver’s license. He was taken into custody and transported to Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Operator Never Licensed. Within 4 hours his cash bond was posted, and he was released on bond. 

On Sunday, December 10th at about 3:30 in the morning Officer Fisher conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling east on U.S. 30 near Oak Drive due to excessive speed. The driver was identified as Ha San, 37, of Fort Wayne. San was driving with only an ID card and had never been issued a license. Ha San was arrested and transported to Marshall County Jail and booked in for Operator Never Licensed and held on a $100 cash bond.

About 9:30 Sunday night Officer Fisher stopped a vehicle traveling north on Michigan Street due to excessive speed. The driver was identified as 37-year-old Etson Reyes of First Street in Plymouth. The officer determined that Etson had never had a license. He was arrested and transported to Marshall County Jail and booked in for Operator Never Licensed.  His cash bond was posted less than 2 hours later and Reyes was released on bond. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
