The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council will meet tonight beginning at 6 p.m. in the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall. 

The Board of Public Works and Safety will hear reports from various department heads including Fire Chief Steve Holm who will oversee the swearing-in of John Lampkins.  The City Attorney will present the 2024 Animal Control Services Agreement and the board will approve the claims.

The Common Council meeting begins at 6:30 with two public hearings, an Additional Appropriations Resolution, and one for the Water Utility Improvement Project. Members will also consider on second and third reading the ordinance authorizing the city to issue Taxable Economic Development Revenue Bonds for the Water Street Townhomes Project and approve the authorization order actions. 

Under New Business the City Council will consider the 2024 Agreement for Planning Services, the Agreement for Transportation Services, and the Certification of compliance with nepotism and contracting policies.

Also on the agenda of the council meeting are resolutions for additional appropriations, a resolution providing for a transfer in the Water Department, a resolution of the Plymouth Plan Commission adopting the Plymouth Forward 2040 Comprehensive Plan, and a resolution approving the Plan Commission’s order regarding proposed amendments to TIF District #2.
