Officer Schieber with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the evening of Tuesday, December 5th at about 10:15.  The traffic stop occurred on North Michigan Street near Plymouth Goshen Road.

During the traffic stop, the officer identified the driver as Joseph E. Soto Crespo, 33, of 1621 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.

Soto Crespo was determined to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest for Disorderly Conduct.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $250 cash bond. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
