On Wednesday, November 29th, at approximately 11:30 p.m. deputies from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of officers from the Plymouth Police Department, conducted a warrant service at the Economy Inn located at 2535 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.

Warrants were served on 49-year-old Tanya Clark who had been from Knox and 22-year-old Ceara Conner who had been from Warsaw but were both living in the Plymouth motel.  Both women were taken into custody and booked in the Marshall County Jail.  Both females had active warrants for their arrest through Marshall County.

When deputies took Ceara into custody, they located suspected methamphetamine on her person. She was booked for Possession of Methamphetamine as a Level 6 Felony and on her active warrant for failure to appear. Ceara Conner was held on a $1500 cash bond.

Tanya was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for her active warrant for failure to appear.  Tanya Clark was held with NO BOND.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
