Oliver Ford Lincoln in Plymouth is powering the lights on the big Christmas Tree next to Bowen Printing with a 2023 F-150 Ford Lightning pickup truck.  This all-electric truck will power the lights on the big tree for the entire holiday season.

While the community celebrated the beginning of the holiday season with the lighted Christmas Parade and the lighting of the city’s official Christmas Tree in River Park Square this past Saturday, the folks from Oliver Ford Lincoln held their tree-lighting ceremony.

The tree which served as the city’s official Christmas Tree for years is now officially known as the Happy Jack Tree of Hope in honor of Jack Oliver who loved Christmas.

For all those years prior, Dawn and Al Smith from Bowen Printing have paid for the electricity to power the lights on the tree.  Jack Oliver from Oliver Ford Lincoln has provided the lights for the tree.

Saturday night, John Oliver told those gathered that the lights on the tree are now all LED which has enabled Oliver Ford to use the all-electric F-150 called the Lightning to illuminate the tree for the entire holiday season.
