Philip Ryan Shriver, 39, of Mill Pond Trail in Plymouth was picked up on an arrest warrant for Marshall County this week while he was in St. Joseph County.

The criminal charges he has in Marshall County stem from a traffic stop from the Indiana State Police on January 24, 2023.  The trooper observed a red Ford Edge following too closely to the vehicle in front of it on State Road 10, west of State Road 19.  The trooper followed the Edge as it turned onto Apple Road and activated its lights for a traffic stop.

The driver identified himself as Philip Shriver.  ISP K9 Master Trooper Dave Caswell and his K9 Chase arrived and did a free air sniff around the vehicle.  He alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle and a search revealed 14.7 grams of suspected Methamphetamine and 1 gram of Heroin.

Checking Shriver’s name, the trooper found he had over 24 cases with the Indiana State Police. A check through Doxpop indicated several open cases in Kosciusko County for Possession and Dealing of Meth and as a Serious Violent Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Philip Shriver is in the Marshall County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.

He is also being held for drug charges in Kosciusko County.
