On Thursday, June 15, at 10:30 in the morning, Marshall County Police Detective Sergeant Jonathan Bryant and Argos Assistant Police Chief Rodney Rudd conducted a theft investigation and warrant service in the 300 block of Indiana Avenue in Argos.

During the investigation, officers located Scott Bryant, 34, of Bourbon, and Steven Garcia, 24 of Argos in a vehicle on the property. Officers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and hypodermic needles on the pair and placed them under arrest.

Officers had information that Jaidlyn Larimore, 28, of Argos was hiding inside the home and had active warrants for her arrest.  Entry was made and Larimore was taken into custody.

Scott Bryant is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle. He was given a $10,000 cash bond.

Steven Garcia was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle and given a $1,500 cash bond.

Jaidlyn Larimore was arrested for a Felony and Misdemeanor arrest warrant and a new charge of Resisting Law Enforcement. She has a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
