A Huston, Texas man is in the Marshall County Jail after being stopped for Reckless Driving and OWI. 

On Wednesday, May 17th at 10:15 p.m. the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a report of a reckless driver traveling east on U.S. 30 approaching Plymouth.  Central Dispatch informed Plymouth Police and said the caller was following the suspect vehicle, a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The suspect vehicle turned right onto Oak Drive and then east onto PIDCO Drive.  The vehicle was then reported as driving south on the railroad tracks that parallel Broadway Street.

City officers located the suspect vehicle at the corner of Broadway and Harrison Streets.  The driver, 67-year-old Alan Glombicki, was investigated for Operating While Intoxicated and suspected to be operating with a blood alcohol content of more than three times the legal limit.  Glombicki was taken into custody and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated, Operating While Intoxicated-Endangering, Operating with a BAC over .15, and Driving on the right-of-way of railroad property.

Glombicki was held on a $1,500 cash bond. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
