Angie Mills, Principal of Jefferson Elementary School since 2011, will be moving on to a new opportunity for the 2023-2024 school year: Plymouth Community School Corporation’s Multi-Age Program Director.

In this new role, Mills will use what she has learned throughout her years as principal to lead and organize the effective delivery of multi-age educational programs and related services in the corporation.  She looks forward to fostering the growth of the PCSC early childhood program through early intervention and preparation for the success of the students in kindergarten and through graduation. 

Mills comes highly qualified and well-rounded, not only with 12 years of experience as a principal, but with an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design from Ivy Tech State University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement from Indiana University, and a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership and Supervision from Ball State University.

This new program includes overseeing and evaluating the district’s early childhood education program, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, providing support to staff regarding special education, Title 1, and other grant programs.  She will assist in coordinating with district administration to provide professional development and training, ensuring fiscal compliance, promoting success of students, coordinating with the director of Special Education for IEPs. Maintaining inclusive preschool settings and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.  This position also involves coordinating meetings, maintaining privacy, and seeking new grant opportunities. 

Hope Amor will be the new principal at Jefferson Elementary School.
