The Culver Town Council will meet Tuesday evening at 6:30 in the Town Hall at 200 East Washington Street.  The meeting is open to the public and available live online through Teams.

The agenda for the meeting includes a Public Hearing to re-establish the CCD Fund and the first reading of the ordinance to re-establish the CCD Fund.  The CCD Fund does currently exist with a tax rate of $.0427 per $100 of assessed value.  The proposal is to increase the rate to $.05 per $100 of assessed value.  This is not a new tax, but recent legislation will now set the rate and it will remain steady.  In the past, the rate would decline gradually over the years.

The Culver Council is scheduled to make an appointment to the Redevelopment Commission and will consider the Tax Abatement Compliance Form from Sand Hill/Paddocks.

The Culver Town Council will consider a Special Event Permit request for Kiwanis Pen Day, June 17, and get an update on the search for a new Town Manager. Also, on the agenda are reports from various town department heads, the Clerk’s Report, Attorney Report, and Citizen’s Input.
