Officer Krynock with the Plymouth Police Department investigated a possible stolen vehicle traveling on Jefferson Street Sunday.  City Police units were notified of a possibly stolen vehicle westbound on Jefferson Street in the area of Lincolnway East at about 6:45.

Officer Krynock located the vehicle at the Red-D-Mart gas station and made contact with the driver, Echols-Adell, 22, of Elkhart.

During the investigation, the officer was able to confirm that the vehicle was stolen. Echols-Adell was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Possession of Marijuana and Operating a Vehicle Never Licensed.  His cash bond was paid Monday morning just after midnight and he was released on bond. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
