Earlier this month, the Plymouth Park Board approved the request of Tammy Greenlee for the donation of a family pool pass for the Jefferson Elementary School.  The pass will be added to the Jefferson School Basket that was given away during the Dia del Nino (Day of the Child) event hosted by the School Corporation.  Jefferson Elementary’s basket was a water basket and included a variety of water fun including the pool pass.

The Park Board approved her request.

The second request was from the Marshall County 4-H Horse and Pony Committee.  They were granted free use of the Lions Shelter for Saturday, June 17th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The 4-H group will host a car wash to benefit the Horse and Pony members.

The final request was a letter from Jeff Yeazel, Chairman of the P-town Cruz’n Car Show.  They requested free use of River Park Square on June 10th for their 13th annual event which is a fundraiser for the Marshall County Humane Society.  The car show will provide port-a-pots and take care of their trash.

They were approved to use the grassy area on the eastern side of the park.

Park Superintendent Mike Hite also provided a rendering of the signage for the new pavilion in River Park Square.  The Plymouth VFW donated $15,000 to the park department for the new pavilion.
