Enjoy “Date Night” at The REES Theatre in downtown Plymouth every second and fourth Friday night!  Events kick off on Friday, May 5 at 7:00 pm with the movie Selena, the movie telling the story of American Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla Pérez. Called the “Queen of Tejano Music”, her contributions to music and fashion made her one of the most celebrated Mexican American entertainers of the late 20th century. 

May 12 brings singer/comedian Will King at 7:30. General admission tickets are $15 or $30 for a balcony meet and greet prior to the show.

The Blues Brothers movie on Friday, May 19 at 7:00 pm followsJake and Elwood find on “a mission from God” to prevent foreclosure of the Roman Catholic orphanage in which they were raised. The Blues Brothers is set in and around the Chicago area and you’ll be movin’ and groovin’ to the songs that helped make this movie one of the greatest.  The Community Sponsor is DAC Enterprises.

Rock & Roller Quentin Flagg shakes things up with a high-energy performance on the Bob Pickell Performing Arts stage Friday, May 26 at 7:00 pm.  Knights of Columbus is the Community Sponsor.  General Admission is $15 or $30 for a balcony meet and greet at $30.

Sunday afternoon matinees at 2:00 pm continue with Ferdinand on May 7 sponsored by Simplee Stated Gifts; Shrek on May 14 and The Princess and The Frog on May 28.  Sunday movies are $5 for adults, and kids 12 and under are free with an accompanying paid adult.
