Officer Baker with the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to the 600 block of Randolph Street on Monday, April 24th to conduct a welfare check on a female that was a victim of a Battery.

The female victim has visible injuries, and an investigation was conducted.  It was determined that a domestic battery had occurred, and 43-year-old Christopher Williams of 601 Randolph Street was the suspect.   

Christopher Williams was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail at 7:45 p.m.  He was held on a $500 cash bond. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
