On Thursday, April 20th at 9 a.m., 21-year-old Michael Wallace of Alexander Street in Plymouth was arrested on an active felony warrant for 6 counts of Child Molesting.  He was located in the 200 block of Klinger Street.

The Probable Cause Affidavit states that the victim was a family member who went to Plymouth Hospital on March 18th and said she had been sexually assaulted.  During the examination, the teen said Wallace had been inappropriately touching her for the last 7 to 9 years. 

On March 21st Michael Wallace met with Detective Ben McIntyre and agreed to go with him to the Plymouth Police Department.  He was told he was not under arrest or detained.  Wallace said he understood and wanted to speak with an attorney before providing a statement.

On March 22nd a search warrant for Michael Wallace’s DNA was applied for and granted.  On March 22nd Detective McIntyre served the search warrant and collected his DNA and on Thursday, April 20th he was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail.  Michael Wallace is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
