Early voting for the municipal elections has been light according to the Marshall County Election Board.  During their meeting on Tuesday, April 18, it was announced that only 40 in-person ballots had been cast, and they have received 29 mail-in absentee ballots.  The Travel Board has collected votes from 9 individuals. 

While the Election Board can give out the numbers of early voters, the results of those ballots are not tallied until Election Day.

Early voting is open in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through this Friday.  On Monday, May first registered voters can cast their ballots in the Clerk’s Office from 8 a.m. to noon.

Early voting will also be available this Saturday, April 29th from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Clerk’s Office, at the Bremen Pines at 1820 West Plymouth Street, and in the Culver Community School Administration Building at 700 School Street.

Primary Election Day for the Municipal Election is Tuesday, May 2nd.  Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Vote Centers will be open at the Bremen Pines in Bremen, the Culver Community School Administration Building, and at the Knights of Columbus 901 East Jefferson Street or the Life Enrichment Center at the Council of Aging located at 1305 West Harrison Street in Plymouth.
